Denisha m. Hopkins, mother to mother in healthcare award
Awarded in honor of NAHSE member Denisha Hopkins, the Mother to Mother scholarship program is specifically meant to provide financial assistance to mothers who are pursuing Associates, Bachelors, or Masters degrees. Applicants must be working full-time and reside in the Delaware Valley region. This year, up to two participants will be awarded.
Scholarship fund(s) (up to $1,000 each) will be made payable to the university or college of the recipient.

tabish mian & asad chaudhry educational excellence award
Awarded in honor of NAHSE members Tabish Mian and Asad Chaudhry, a couple who is dedicated to continuous learning along with personal and professional development. This scholarship program encourages students to continue pursue their educational goals. This scholarship is meant to provide financial assistance and promote professionalism in healthcare. The recipient will express and demonstrate a commitment to health policy, leadership academic achievement, medicine, community involvement, and a long term career interest in health service administration. This year, one scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in an accredited college or university program. A brief statement about leadership is required with submission.

DR. NICOLE S. HUFF SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship will not be awarded during 2021
Established in 2015, the Dr. Nicole S. Huff Scholarship recognizes student excellence and achievement based upon the student’s academic record and recommendations from faculty or colleagues, as well as evidence of his/her interest in and commitment to improving health services in underserved communities. Annually, one scholarship is offered to a student who demonstrates potential to succeed in health services administration, medicine, or health policy at the local, state or federal level. Scholarship funds (up to $1,000) will be made payable to the university or college of the recipient. |

NAHSE-DVC is pleased to offer Leadership Awards that provide financial assistance to high school students of the Health Career Collaborative.
